As the social environment surrounding vehicles changes, new functions and performance are demanded. We are committed to performing research and development of wire harnesses and their components that realize theses new functions and performance. By seizing the future trends of various in-vehicle electronics at an early stage, we also design and develop ideas and techniques for the next generation E&E architecture to create new business opportunities. These development activities are done by integrating our techniques with the infrastructure technology of our parent company, Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd.

We identify elemental technology required for the future generation power supply, communication, and wire harnesses, and create new products.
Development of digital simulation
Model based development is adopted to propose the next generation systems. The systems and units are designed and examined by simulation.
Bench evaluation of architecture
Developed parts, units, and components are evaluated in the environment equivalent to an actual vehicle. Problems in terms of noise, heat, and other factors are identified.
