2004.11.30 Ceremony for the Signing of an Organizational (Comprehensive) Cooperative Agreement with Kyushu University
On October 18 the signing ceremony for an Organizational (Comprehensive) Cooperative Agreement between AutoNetworks Technologies, Ltd. and Kyushu University was held in Fukuoka. At the ceremony, the Tisato Kajiyama, President of Kyushu University and Hirosaka Ikeda, President of AutoNetworks Technologies, Ltd. took the honor of signing the agreement. At AutoNetworks, as part of our research and development pertaining to wire harnesses for automobiles, we are currently pursuing the research and development of vehicle infrastructures such as power distribution, communications, and control networks, developed using technical innovation focused on power & LANs, and modules. Kyushu University on the other hand, while being well-known for the high level of its research capabilities, has also been actively pursuing innovations using tie-ups between businesses and the university mainly through the Intellectual Property Management Center since well before its becoming an independent corporate body. As a result, we have held meetings regarding joint research for a variety of themes and expect that Kyushu University will be a good partner in this endeavor due to its high level and ability to respond quickly. The aim of this agreement is to integrate with Kyushu UniversityŐs academic research activities to realize effective and high-level research and development across all areas pertaining to wire harnesses for automobiles. This organizational cooperation shall also promote the development of innovative tie-up models for research and development that utilize each otherŐs resources (research, human, facility, etc.).
